Level 9 - Room of 3 Keys 1. You start here. 2. It may not look so obvious at first, but the one door leading out of this room is NOT the way to go! Now although the exit to the level is just down that corridor, those fireballs will toast you to a crisp before you can make your way there unless you have super health! There must be another way! The 3 keys you'll need to accomplish your mission are all sitting so invitingly in full view here, but you won't be able to access them just yet. Only one way to go - open the pushwall at this point here and venture forth. 3. You'll find a handy MCS Mk 3 here being guarded by a clone or two. 4. The bronze key! Grab it, and then go back out to the main central room from where you started off from. You will now be able to open the other door here requiring the bronze key, and throw the switch inside. 5. A pushwall will slide back here once you throw that switch - make your way inside to continue in your quest. 6. Those filthy clones are at it again eating meals in the toilet cubicles!!! Plenty of first aid items and food to be found in the toilet block, so stock up and hope you don't get salmonella poisoning! 7. The gold key! Make your way back out to the room you started this level from, and then open the other door requiring the gold key. Throw the switch inside. 8. The switch will open the pushwall here, and then it's on to explore the mazelike area ahead to reach the final key. The maze may seem easy to get lost in, but it seems Hansel and Gretel (Grosse) were here before, and instead of leaving breadcrumbs, in traditional Grosse fashion, they left a trail of skulls instead so as to mark their way ... just follow the skulls on the floor, and you can't go wrong (unless a sneaky suicide clone gets the better of you :) 9. Hear the sound of breaking stone columns? Rocket turrets!!! The fences will keep you safe for now, but you're going to have to make your way through this area to reach the blood key. Thankfully there are plenty of walls to take cover behind as you move in to take the turrets out. 10. Now there's a handy rocket launcher here that will make eliminating those turrets an easy task. In addition, there's another secret pushwall here that will lead you to a nice Artefact of Regeneration, and then another secret pushwall to lead you to some nice trinkets! 11. Finally - the blood key! Not too far to go now. Grab it and back out to the room from where you started. 12. Open the door requiring the blood key here, and throw both the switches inside. Voila! Fireballs now deactivated! That door nearby can now be opened safely, and you can proceed up the corridors without fear of fire. 13. Grab the elevator key being guarded by a clone here, and then to the exit elevator - on to level 10! |
